Made In The Hood started off as a young man’s dream which quickly turned into a successful passion project. To the naked eye it may seem like any other clothing store, but to our founder Detrell Wright and his community of New Orleans, it means so much more. Made In The Hood is not only a brand but a lifestyle and an experience. A place where all are welcomed, encouraged, and challenged to tap into their own creative energy. Many people wonder how, despite worldly challenges, Detrell and Made In The Hood stay afloat. His response is always consistent and accredits the success to his motto: “to the test of time”. The test of time is a testament to how much you want something. In times of adversity or strife, how long are you willing to endure putting the work in to see your dream come to life.
